Collector's Oud
Ibn Zaydun
If any of you have followed our adventure into the realms of all things Oudiful, then it’s more likely than not that you’ve all heard of our award winning Ibn Zamrak. Named after the famed Andalusian poet, Ibn Zamrak captured the minds and hearts of many Oud-hungry connoisseurs and for good reason. Its aroma was something that could appeal to the masses while still bolstering a high level of complexity to those who yearned for the meditative medicinal quality Oud should provide.
Following in its footsteps is Ibn Zaydun, and although Ibn Zaydun doesn’t share much with Ibn Zamrak in terms of aromatic notes, it falls within the same tier of exceptional quality and outstanding complexity. If you’ve only been into Oud for the last couple of years, you probably haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing wild oud from the Malaysian state of Perak, and boy is it a treat! Wearing Ibn Zaydun is akin to being enveloped in an expansive azure colored aura that contains within its scent a tangy berry-like characteristic, coupled with a gentle musky undertone. As it settles on the skin, it becomes more vaporous exuding notes of eucalyptus, liquor, red wine, pomegranates, cherry cola, gumdrop, vanilla, and resin; an extremely pleasing Oud that can (and most likely will) induce wrist to nose syndrome.
To our distinguished ouddoisseurs, we proudly present Ibn Zaydun. The Oud, the perfume, and the medicine. Noble in both its cause, and its fragrance.
