Lindaraja II

Truth be told, we were reluctant to release this oud oil as it does not represent the traditional aesthetic of scent in the Gulf region that we are becoming known for. Our vision is encapsulated in the image of someone swiping a generous amount of dark, viscous oud oil with a strong identity and is not shy in loudly announcing its presence. It is an aesthetic grounded in scent's social function in the Gulf.

The Lindaraja represents an anomaly in the long list of oud oils released by Al Hashimi. This is why we have never contemplated officially releasing an oud oil like the Lindaraja until now, but the sheer vibrance and delicious aroma of this spectacular oil forced us to make an exception.

Forget everything you think you know about oud. This oil will confound your expectations and contradict your every assumption. The Lindaraja opens with a sublime tropical fruit scent with strong hints of banana, honeydew melon and guava that do not have any parallels in the oud world. The scent is clean and closer to an Extrait de Parfum than you would expect from anything labelled as oud.

There is a trade-off, however. Don’t expect longevity with this gem, as the Lindaraja is an olfactory equivalent of a meteor shower. Like a natural firework display of space rocks hurtling into the earth’s atmosphere, the Lindaraja commands the full attention of the beholder as it shines brightly before rapidly disappearing into the air.

Is it worth the experience? A resounding yes! That brief ecstatic experience of the finest natural parfum will compel you to swipe repeatedly to relive the intensity of that first encounter.
