Qi Nam is a fragrance created to capture the true essence of kinam in a form that can finally be experienced beyond a tiny vial. It was originally composed from high grade cultivated kinam, hydro-distilled for clarity and supported by a refined kinam CO2 extract. The formulation also includes Kinam X, a highly regarded in house material that was withdrawn from sale specifically to be reserved for this purpose.

However, kinam is not merely a premium form of agarwood. It represents a heritage of rarity and prestige. To respect that legacy, Qi Nam includes an exceptional component rarely seen in spray based oud perfumes. In 2019, Al Hashimi produced rare wild wood extracts from the Philippines, Vietnam and Sabah. Even at room temperature, these extracts carried the unmistakable kinamic presence admired by connoisseurs. Over the past eighteen months, they were tinctured slowly to create an extraordinary material that now forms half of this extrait.
