Fayruz is a masterfully handcrafted artisanal oud that has matured beautifully from its initial light blue color thatb was so striking, that it was originally destined to be named Azraq.  However, as oud often does, it underwent remarkable changes in its first year or two post-distillation and is now a glorious turquoise hue that inspired its current name. Distilled with a deep commitment to the traditional methods and a reverence for the natural maturation process, Fayruz embodies the transformative beauty of nature itself.

As you first encounter Fayruz, you're met with a refreshing oceanic breeze that captures the essence of the sea. This vibrant opening is accentuated with salty mineral notes that evoke the purity and vastness of ocean waters. A gentle touch of incense brings a subtle spiritual depth to the composition, while a dash of mint introduces a crisp, invigorating twist. Together, these elements create a scent that is as refreshing as it is profound.

Within the first 5 to 10 minutes, our Fayruz evolves into a more harmonious expression. The initial notes of the ocean and salt minerals smooth out, seamlessly blending with the incense and mint to form a unified aromatic experience. The addition of a touch of banana peel brings a gentle organic sweetness, weaving a thread of tropical warmth through the cool, crisp notes, enriching the heart of the fragrance with its subtle complexity.

After thirty minutes, Fayruz reveals its rich base notes, deepening into a more textured and layered composition. The oceanic freshness continues, now paired with a warmer incense aroma and the lush sweetness of ripe banana. Earthy notes reminiscent of a forest floor bring a grounding, almost mystical quality to the blend.
